Chrissy as a character was great to read about. She is such a resilient and admirable person who is always just doing her best to be the best mom she can possibly be. I love that she always puts Rudy's needs and wants first and he is the most important thing in her life. The meeting between Rudy and Santa Dash is a sweet exchange and seemed like an excellent way of connecting the two separate storylines. Dash for his part is a charming, handsome man who is still trying to figure out his life. This just seems so realistic because truth be told, many people don't have their lives together in their twenties. However, he is a great fit for Chrissy and Rudy. I loved how Chrissy and Dash were able to connect and relate to one another in terms of their difficult pasts and tense relationships with their parents.
This book really gave me great Hallmark movie vibes and I think could be easily adapted. It was a great way of getting me into the Christmas spirit and I highly recommend it if you've been looking for a cute holiday read to check out. I haven't read many other Christmas or Wintery books but this one definitely makes me try out some more! It was a great introduction to Sarah Robinson as an author and now I'm curious to check out more of her works.

This story was so sweet and adorable! I loved the dynamic between Chrissy, Dash, and Chrissy's son Rudy! I really liked that despite the fact that it was just a short, Christmas novella it had a lovely romance that really had me rooting for the characters to be together. The story was full of some laugh out loud moments that were everything I was looking for in a quick, funny Christmas read. I just wish that the story had been a bit longer because it definitely left me wanting more.Chrissy as a character was great to read about.
